Im a collage student in some desperate need of some money, and i stumbled upon something in the web that said that you can get paid by posting links for google.
is that really true? or is it just one of those get rich quick schemes that never really work?
Answer1:
Adsense is definitely not a get rich quick scheme. And if you have people aimlessly clicking on your ads, you will find that Google will not only take the money you've tried to scam out of them, they will take any money you've legitimately earned from actual users clicking through.

Put it this way, I've had Google Adsense up on my site for nearly two years and I've made a whopping $250.

If you're desperate for money, there are other more efficient ways of doing so. Making collages might be one of those ways, who knows.
Answer2:
Not only is it a scam ...it is an obvious scam at that. First of all it is not possible to "post links to Google or on Google" , anyone who has ever built a webpage should know that! However for those who are not aware of how Google actually works (it's automated folks), I have more evidential "proof' for you.
...Dab1959 posted a link above with this comment:
"I've recently seen a few advertisements that boast the ability to make thousands of dollars a month by "posting links on Google". Here is one: http://kevingothisgreen.com/grants/1?t202id=91204&t202kw=32 "
Now here is a link that I found to a "different" landing page for this scam; however the only difference is the picture of the two people...everything else is exactly the same word for word!
Not sophisticated or subtle...just the basic scam trying to capture innocent newbies looking for a ray of hope online. (or those who should know better than to get sucked in by this mediocrity)! Please avoid these scam like the plague that they are, and report them whenever possible
